What to include in a bug report
The following helps track down the cause. Include whatever you can.
- Your device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro) and iOS version
- The app version (shown at the bottom of the Settings screen)
- Where it happened (puzzle type and the “Level N #M” number shown in the play screen header)
- What you did when it happened
- A screenshot or screen recording
FAQ
Where is my progress saved?
Only on your device. There is no iCloud sync or server backup, so progress is lost if you delete the app or reset your device. Transferring progress to a new device is not currently supported (a purchased Full Plan can be restored; see below). See the Privacy Policy for details.
Are there ads?
No. There are no banner, full-screen or rewarded video ads.
Can I play offline?
Yes. All puzzle data, music and sound effects are bundled with the app, so it works in Airplane Mode. Purchase status is also checked offline. A connection is needed only to purchase or restore the Full Plan.
How much can I play for free?
The free Trial Plan lets you play Levels 0 and 1 of every puzzle type and the three daily challenges with no limit. On top of that, you can play up to 15 other puzzles in total, chosen freely from any type and level, so you can try rating-matched puzzles before buying.
After using all 15, Levels 0 and 1 and the daily challenges remain available as before. You’re never completely locked out.
Tell me about the Full Plan
A one-time purchase (¥900 in Japan; local pricing elsewhere) unlocks every puzzle type and level, including types added in the future. It is not a monthly or yearly subscription, so there are no further charges. It supports Family Sharing. You can purchase it from “Plan” on the Settings screen.
What happens to my Full Plan when I change devices?
If you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase, you can restore the Full Plan via “Restore Purchases” on the Settings screen. However, play progress and ratings cannot be restored, because they are stored only on your device. Only the purchase itself is restored.
“Restore Purchases” doesn’t work
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. A different Apple ID cannot restore it. If that doesn’t solve it, please contact us.
Do I need to sign in to Game Center?
No, it’s optional. Signing in shows your avatar and nickname in your profile, but nothing is restricted if you don’t. Ratings and progress are calculated and stored on your device either way.
There’s no sound
Check your device volume and silent switch. Also, music does not start automatically while another app is playing audio (so it doesn’t interrupt it). Tap the play button on the player card on the Home screen to start it. Sound effects and music can be turned on or off in Settings.
How do I use hints or view the rules?
Tap the light bulb at the top right of the play screen to highlight the next cell you can determine. You can reread the rules anytime from “View Rules” in the ⋯ menu at the top right.
Doesn’t this puzzle have two solutions?
Every puzzle was verified with a solver at generation time to have a unique solution reachable by logic alone. Still, a gap in verification isn’t impossible, so if a puzzle looks suspicious, contact us with the puzzle type and its “Level N #M” number and we’ll check it.
